Francia Raisa

The acting career of Raisa began in her junior year of high school, where she started modeling and did commercials. She was a guest on sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams and Over There. Raisa was Tamy of Lil' Romeo's 2004 music video "My Girlfriend". She was also featured as Iyaz for the song video for "So Big". Her first lead part a month before the start of her senior year. in Bring It On, All or Nothing, Raisa starred opposite Hayden Pannettiere. Alexandra Delgado starred as Isabel in the Nickelodeon Film Shredderman Rules. From July 2008 through the end of the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager from June 2013 she played the character Adrian Lee. In 2009 Raisa was co-starring as Boo in the short film Boo written by David Henrie who also guest starred on USA Network TV's In Plain Sight. The year 2013 saw Raisa appeared in the festive film Christmas Bounty alongside Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. Raisa as of August, 2012. Between 2018 and 2022, Raisa was a part of the Freeform show Grown-ish. Executive produced by the creator of Blackish Kenya Barris. She was a part of the first four seasons of the show and then left following the graduation of her character at the end the fourth season. In 2018, she was in the role of Tyra in Freeform's television film Life-Size 2. In May 2021, Raisa was cast as a character in How I Met Your Mum's spinoff, How I Met Your Father that was launched on Hulu on January 18, 2022. She was a competitor at swimming at the National Level of Swimming as an teen and set four State records during her high school career. Sharni was the youngest athlete in her immediate family, starting at a very young age, with singing, acting and dancing. She was raised by performers in musical theatre as her grandmother was the recipient of an Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. In the age of 12, Sharni enrolled as a student at the Brent Street School of Performing Arts located in Sydney, where she trained on all aspects of dance during the subsequent 10 years.
