Sharni Vinson

Sharni was raised and born at home in NSW (Australia) within the Cronulla suburb in Sydney's southern coast. She was a competitor at swimming at the National Level of Swimming as an teen and set four State records during her high school career. Sharni was the youngest athlete in her immediate family, starting at a very young age, with singing, acting and dancing. She was raised by performers in musical theatre as her grandmother was the recipient of an Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. In the age of 12, Sharni enrolled as a student at the Brent Street School of Performing Arts located in Sydney, where she trained on all aspects of dance during the subsequent 10 years. At the age of 17 when she graduated from high school Sharni was signed by Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the girl-only group called "Foxfire IV" The group's debut single "Roses" reached the top spot on the Australian ARIA charts.
